Healthiest State Initiative announces the appointment of two new board members

The Healthiest State Initiative is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors. Dr. Jennifer Groos of Iowa Primary Care Association and Primary Health Care B. Engebretsen Medical Clinic and Becky Woody of HealthPartners UnityPoint Health will join the organization’s leadership with three-year terms.

Dr. Jennifer Groos has served as a Clinical Leadership Consultant with the Iowa Primary Care Association for nearly 3 years. She is also a pediatrician with Primary Health Care, Inc., and has almost 20 years of experience as a pediatrician in her career.

Becky Woody has served as the President of HealthPartners UnityPoint Health for nearly 5 years and has over two decades of experience in the health care and insurance industries.

“Dr. Groos and Becky are both passionate about our work and whole-heartedly believe in our mission” said Jami Haberl, executive director of the Healthiest State Initiative.  “We are thrilled to welcome them to our Board of Directors to help guide us through 2024 and beyond.”
