Resources to help you stay healthy while you work from home during COVID-19

Social distancing measures, put in place due to the COVID-19 outbreak, mean that many of us are suddenly working from home for an indefinite amount of time. This can be a difficult adjustment that could impact our work productivity as well as our health and wellness.

That's why it is now more important than ever to prioritize our physical, mental and emotional health by practicing healthy habits at home. Below are some resources to help you Eat Well, Move More and Feel Better during this time.

AT-HOME WELLNESS PROGRAMMING:

Workplaces can still engage employees in wellness programming while they work from home. Consider this 5-2-1-0 Healthy Choices Count! 4-Week Wellness Challenge from the University of Iowa. You could also find ways to incentivize mental health activities during this stressful and uncertain time.

WORK FROM HOME RESOURCES:

If you do not regularly work from home, you may not have a dedicated workspace or struggle to set up a new routine. Here are some resources to get you started:

Some restaurants are still open for carry-out, but more time at home likely means more time preparing food in your own kitchen. Make sure you're fueling your body with healthy meals and snacks during this time. Try these tools if you're struggling to eat healthy at home.
