2018 Double Up Food Bucks Vendor Application

Iowa Healthiest State Initiative is now inviting produce vendors to apply to participate in the 2018 Double Up Food Bucks season, expected to run from May 1 – October 31. Applications are being collected by the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative (HSI) which facilitates the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program at farmers markets throughout the state.

Iowa 2018 Double Up Food Bucks Vendor Application

To qualify, produce vendors must: 

  1. Be able to accept SNAP benefits (minimum of one season of experience is preferred, but not required)
  2. Have a SNAP permit number from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS)
  3. Have a point of sale device and SNAP currency
  4. Demonstrate sufficient organizational capacity to handle the associated accounting and reporting
