We are branching out from the walls of the gymnasium to provide a day of exciting presentations that will bene fit your
Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program. This event is designed for physical education teachers and classroom
teachers, providing sessions that will help integrate activity throughout the day, regardless of setting.
We are proud to introduce Mike Kuczala, author of The Kinesthetic Classroom: Teaching and Learning through Movement, as a
featured speaker.
Featuring additional kinesthetic learning presentations from Ann Gri n, Grant Wood Area Education Agency; and a group of
educators from Norwalk School District: Charity Campbell, PE Teacher and 2012 Iowa Teacher of the Year, Christie Bevins,
classroom teacher, and Melissa Stoulil, health teacher.
Additional sessions on Adventure Education, Assessment, Technology Use in PE and Adapted PE will be o ffered, as
well as lunchtime speaker, Helen Eddy of the Healthiest State Initiative.
