Make It OK messaging for everyone
Anyone can experience a mental illness. In fact, about one in five people will experience mental illness in their lifetime regardless of their age, race, religion, ethnicity or income.
Thank you to EMBARC for partnering with us to help spread the message of Make It OK to all Iowans by producing videos about mental illness in several world languages: English, Spanish, Mizo Chin, Lingala, Kirundi, Karenni, Karen, French and Burmese.
What is mental illness?
Mental illness is when your thoughts, feelings or mood changes stops you from enjoying your daily life or interferes with your relationships. Mental illness is common and OK.
