This game is perfect for those hot summer days where you can’t seem to escape the heat. Drip, Drip, Drop is a water game similar to Duck, Duck, Goose. All you need is a cup or bucket of water to get the game going.

Outdoor Obstacle Course
Setting up an obstacle course in your backyard is an easy and fun way to keep the whole family active. Construct the backyard obstacle course with hula hoops, jump ropes, sticks, and other materials from around the house. To keep the kids motivated, turn it into a competition: The person with the fastest time wins a prize or bragging rights.
Nature Scavenger Hunt
Turn going on a walk into a fun adventure with the fam! A nature scavenger hunt is a fun way to stay active and make going on walks more enjoyable for everyone. Before you head outside, make a list of things you want to be on the lookout for. Examples: a bird, something red, mushroom.
Remember to stay hydrated and apply sunscreen as recommended! In the summer heat, it’s important to drink lots of water and protect your skin throughout the day. Experts say that you should apply sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside and reapply at least every two hours. Have fun!
